Being close to someone with ADHD, high sensitivity, dyslexia, or another neurodivergent type can raise real, practical questions fast - about communication, boundaries, emotional intensity, energy, and capacity.

Many partners, friends, and family members find themselves asking:
*How can I support without over-functioning?
*How do I stay connected without burning out?
*How do I even know what’s neurological, what’s relational, and where I fit in?

At ThriveCollective, we don’t teach you how to “manage” a neurodivergent person.
We help you understand how nervous systems meet, where friction naturally arises, and how to care for your own needs alongside the relationship.

This space offers clear, non-pathologizing explanations of neurodivergent nervous systems, alongside practical tools for communication, pacing, and support that goes beyond just good intentions.
What you can find here:
Foundational articles
For when the most useful support is one you can use right away - and integrate at your own pace.
Our articles include neurodivergent-tailored insights, and is fast expanding with "friends & family"- ready ones. Whether you want to share useful information with your loved one, learn more about their unique make-up, or gain insights into supporting yourself as part of their support system, we've got you covered.
Specialist support
For when the most powerful step forward is working with a specialist who truly understands your unique couple / family situation.
Our network brings together independent specialists across key disciplines, to ensure a holistic approach to individual, couple, and family relationships. Their sessions can be immensely helpful whether you are also neurodivergent yourself, or not.

Community
For when the next level of support looks like a community that truly gets what it means to live with a partner or family member with ADHD, dyslexia, or high sensitivity - and creates a safe space to share and be.

Our facilitated circles bring our friends and family community together in an intimate setting, where you can share experiences, exchange challenges, and learn from each other. Gain practical tools, and the reassurance that you’re not alone.

For your neurodivergent loved one
For when the right step is connecting your loved one with the resources they need to better understand themselves - and your relationship.

Our resources and guided sessions are designed for HSP, ADHD, or dyslexic adults who want to stop fighting themselves, and start working with their unique minds. So that they, you, and your relationship can truly start thriving from a place of understanding and mutual empathy.
How it works:
Our collective isn’t another therapist directory. It’s an ecosystem designed to help you connect with clients, grow your visibility with peers, and co-create new offerings without the overwhelm of running it alone.
FAQ
We've put together this FAQ to help you find fast answers to the most common questions asked.

Do you have a question that you couldn't find an answer to? Please e-mail us at info@thrivecollective.nl
Is ThriveCollective still useful for me if I am not officially neurodivergent?
Yes! ThriveCollective can still help you:

-
Find your next favorite specialist who can help with your own somatic, energetic or emotional complaints

-
Find life-enhancing resources that you can send a friend, a co-worker or a family member you know could benefit from them.

-
Potentially even recognize some of these traits in yourself once you start finding more about what ADHD, HSP, or broader neurodivergence actually looks like (same as it happened for ThriveCollective's two founders).

Fun fact: did you know research indicates that 15-20% of adults in the Netherlands exhibit highly sensitive (HSP) traits, about 4% have a form of dyslexia, and approximately 3% exhibit ADD tendencies? Chances are, even if you don't think you know someone directly, you likely do.
Do you offer crisis support?
No, we do not offer crisis support through ThriveCollective. If you are based in the Netherlands and feel you need urgent help, please call 113, or contact your GP. They can also give you the emergency number for the doctors on duty (Huisartsenpost) in your area.
How is ThriveCollective different from other therapy platforms?
Unlike generic therapy directories, we:
-
Provide holistic specialist support. That means we partner with independent specialists who are handpicked for neurodivergent needs, and who span diverse specialties: from psychological to somatic therapists, nutritionists & lifestyle specialists and more.

-
Go beyond therapy sessions, by integrating matched specialist sessions with evidence-based practical resources and community events.

-
Assist neurodivergent people in finding the right path for their needs via our Path Quiz - whether that means a therapy session, or just getting started with some beginner-friendly reading. We guide you and your loved ones to the information, tools, and events that help you work with your individual situation, based on the needs you have now.

-
Provide resources for friends and family - because we know that you also need support while supporting your neurodivergent loved one.

-
Support therapists and specialists in expanding their work with purpose-led partnerships.

Our goal is for neurodivergent people to have access to a comprehensive care program, over the standard, single-specialty approach we often see on the Dutch mental health support market.
How do I choose a specialist?
Browse our Specialist support page and pick the practitioner that resonates with you, based on your needs. We will also release our matching quiz soon, which will hep you find a good fit based on your wants and needs. Either way, you stay in control of the process.
Do you have a Friends & Family subscription?
We are currently working on expanding our neurodivergent adults-dedicated subscriptions.

NOTE: We currently only offer our free Discoverer plan, as we want to build the paid packages with community feedback. Your loved one can already give us input on the paid Aligner and Integrator package prototypes. Once these are live, we will add on a Friends & Family subscription.
