My passion is helping people from the heart, creating well-being for all. Through breathwork, I help people feel more grounded, steady, and connected to their bodies in everyday life. Breathwork is a practice of listening and allowing, rather than forcing. This makes it particularly powerful for neurodiverse individuals, whose nervous systems are often overwhelmed on a day-to-day basis.

About Martijn and his method

As a breathwork practitioner,  I’ve witnessed the life changing power of intentional breathwork. In a guided session, your breath becomes more than air - it becomes a bridge between mind and body, helping you recalibrate your internal rhythm.

 

Breath can support you with increased anxiety and stress, helping you to calm your racing thoughts and create some space between stimulus and response. That is where the change from reacting to responding to what life throws at you can begin.

For many years, I found myself living on autopilot - moving through life according to what looked ‘right’: career, family, routine. It wasn’t until my late thirties that I realized I wasn’t fully present in my own body or emotions. My journey through personal development and breathwork opened a door to deeper awareness, compassion, and reconnection with my true pace and needs.

Why the Power of Breath:

Whether you choose 1:1 coaching, group workshops, or an advanced Breathing Journey, the Power of Breath remains the same: it reconnects you with your body, regulates your nervous system, and helps you find clarity in moments that feel overwhelming.

In 1:1 coaching, we take an in-depth look at your personal patterns, we integrate practical tools, and add NLP techniques and hands-on support to help your mind and body shift together in real time. It’s a personalized space where your breath becomes a guide to understanding what your system needs - and how to create real change.

In group workshops, we explore breath as both a practical tool and an inner journey. You’ll learn simple techniques you can use throughout the day to reduce stress, steady your thoughts, and support your energy levels.

We move gradually into deeper Breathing Journeys in a safe, small-group setting, supported by music and a held atmosphere. Here, you can drop out of your head and into a state of presence and insight. You leave not only with a powerful experience, but with practical exercises you can bring into your everyday life, to expand your capacity for calm, focus, and resilience.

Who the Power of Breath is for:

If you are a neurodiverse individual, it is likely you experience anxiety, emotional dysregulation, rejection sensitivity, or overwhelm more than people around you. Breathwork offers you a gentle yet powerful tool to regulate your nervous system and rediscover steadiness from the inside out. Not by pushing harder, but by meeting yourself where you are, with love and acceptance.

In my work, I integrate breath with other holistic approaches. Through Landmark training, I've realized that I stand for unconditional love, am non-judgmental, and want to offer a helping hand. I'm increasingly focusing on spirituality, and rely on an integrative approach in my sessions, including:

  • quantum touch

  • the energy of stones

  • Theosophy

  • nutrition

  • shamanism

  • NLP

Once you book a 1:1 coaching session (or program of multiple sessions) with Martijn, you will receive an intake form. This form will help you set the right intentions before starting your work together, and it will help Martijn guide you in the best ways during the session(s).

When you book a Breathwork Workshop or a Breathing Journey, you will receive a form to check and discuss any health contraindications you may have with Martijn directly. All of your information remains confidential.
