About Raluca and her method

A personal brush with ADHD

My path into coaching began over six years ago, while attending Co Active Fundamentals coaching training. I immediately resonated with the approach, but it was not yet the right time for me to integrate the principles fully. In 2022, that time came, and I completed my training in systems coaching (ORSC™), an experience that deepened my interest in relational dynamics and systemic perspectives in coaching.

Fast-forward to a couple of years later, a part of my family was diagnosed with ADHD. My own ADHD diagnosis followed shortly after. This experience led me to pursue formal ADHD coach training, initially to better support my family and understand how ADHD shapes their (and my own) behavior, decision-making, and relationships. While you should indeed not coach family members, you can still support them by sharing science-backed tools that make a difference, and living out their positive effects yourself.

From personal experience to client guidance

Once I became more open about my lived experiences with ADHD, I began receiving coaching requests from people who felt that someone finally fully sees them.

This shaped my vision for ADHD coaching. I view ADHD is a characteristic of the brain functioning, no value judgement attached. Like any human trait, it comes with both strengths and challenges - and my mission as a coach is to tailor my work so I can best support each unique ADHD individual in recognizing their capacities, and in developing practical ways to navigate challenges in work and daily life.

My work is grounded in the strengths-based methodology of ADDCA™ - the first and largest comprehensive ADHD Coach Training Program accredited by the International Coaching Federation (ICF Levels 1 and 2) and the Professional Association for ADHD Coaches (PAAC, AACTP).

I tailor my approach to each client's unique needs, relying on a blend of:

* Relationship system coaching

* Coaching using an ADHD lens

* System-coaching approach, helping individuals to harmonize the roles they play in their lives and in the world

How ADHD Coaching can help you:

Public conversations about ADHD often swing between two extremes: framing it as a "superpower" or as a "disability". What many people with ADHD (myself included) actually find is that there is a whole world in between these two extremes: periods of what creativity, focus, and incredible motivation alternate with moments of overwhelm, doubt, or exhaustion - and it is not always clear to us what triggers one or the other.

ADHD coaching offers a space to explore this complexity without judgement. Through 1:1 sessions, you learn to recognize your strengths and interests, and to understand your actions and reactions through an ADHD-informed lens. Together, we identify recurring challenges and develop practical tools to help you move away from reacting to proactively responding to them.

Who ADHD Coaching is for:

Coaching is a collaborative process. The more openness and engagement you bring into the coaching relationship, the more meaningful the outcomes will be for you. As your coach, I walk alongside you on your path, offering structure, reflection, and guidance.

I work from the assumption that you are complete and resourceful; my role is to help you recognize and access your inner resources.

Does this sound nice, but a bit too fuzzy and abstract? Then let's make it tangible!

ADHD coaching may be especially beneficial for you if you are:

ADHD adults coaching

struggling to name something you feel proud of from the past months or years

frequently being told you are late, distracted, or not delivering on time

feeling that you “should be able to do more” if you only tried harder

noticing recurring patterns that negatively affect both your work and personal life

My work is especially suited for:

* professionals with ADHD who are chronically struggling with time management,  project deliveries, priority settings

* adults with ADHD who feel they are capable, but who struggle to achieve the fullness of their potential

* families with (mixed) neurotypes (ADHD and neurotypical, for example) who want to improve communication skills and patterns of relating.

I have spent my entire career working in international corporate environments and understand how ADHD can influence professional performance, relationships, and career development - as well as how corporate structures can, in turn, amplify ADHD-related challenges.

ADHD shows up across both work and personal life. The coaching tools we use are designed to help you manage both with more ease - by learning to pause, reflect, and consciously choose different courses of action that support you in the medium and long term.
