12:00-13:00 CEST

Online workshop with

digital goodies

On-demand lifetime access for €10* (free for live participants and waiting list registrants)

Why we created this workshop:

For people who are highly sensitive or carrying unprocessed trauma (or both!), the nervous system can get stuck - racing and restless one moment, feeling heavy and shut down the next. Trying to will yourself into a state of calm also doesn't work - because your body and mind relax with felt safety, not with force.

Join Integrative Hypnotherapist Lieke van der Werf for a practical workshop focused on:

*understanding the 3 states your nervous system moves through

*recognizing when your system is in each of them

*learning why trauma can keep your system stuck - even more so if you are highly sensitive, processing emotions deeply, and taking in more stimuli than neurotypical people

*practising simple polyvagal exercises that allow you to shift your state

Just bring yourself, nothing to prepare ahead. On the day, find somewhere comfortable where you can relax. Headphones are a good idea. Cameras and mics are optional.

Get HSP insights and polyvagal tools:

Learn about neuroception and polyvagal theory, plainly.

Understand why your nervous system is more susceptible to getting activated, and how you can support it.

Walk away with a toolkit for at-home:

Your nervous system is trying to help you; it's a physiological process. Once you can normalize this and recognize the states, you can use simple exercises to shift between them.

What you will walk away with:

1. A clearer understanding of your nervous system - and what happens when it moves into alarm, shutdown or felt safety.

2. A way to recognize your own states - so you can start noticing what's happening before the sensation takes over your system.

3. A better understanding of why you get stuck - including the role of high sensitivity, trauma and neuroception.

4. Practical polyvagal exercises you can keep returning to after the session.

5.Space for your questions - with an optional live Q&A with Lieke.

FAQ:

Do I need to prepare anything?

No - just show up and get comfortable somewhere you won't be disturbed. You don't need to know anything about polyvagal theory beforehand.

What if I can't make it for the live?

The full replay will available on demand after the event for €10, lifetime access. Aligner and Integrator members get the option of watching it for free with their monthly code.

If you're registered for the live session but can't make it, you'll still receive free access to the recording.

What if I don't want to show up on the recording?

That's completely fine. You can keep your camera and microphone off during the recorded portion of the workshop (the teaching and guided exercises part). The sharing and Q&A are live only and will never be recorded, so you can ask questions and share what you noticed freely.

You can also participate through the chat throughout the entire workshop.

Is this only for highly sensitive or neurodivergent people?

No. The workshop is particularly relevant to highly sensitive, trauma-carrying and neurodivergent people whose nervous systems get stuck in high alert or shutdown.

But you don't need a particular neurotype or diagnosis.

If you recognize yourself in the description, you're welcome.

Do I need to have experienced trauma?

No. The workshop explores how trauma can affect nervous-system responses, but you don't need a trauma history to benefit from understanding your nervous system.

Will I have to talk about my trauma?

No. You will never be asked to recount or disclose traumatic experiences.

The sharing moment is about what you recognized or noticed in your nervous system, not about telling more than you are comfortable.
